Ideas excite Andrew. He has spent his entire career in idea driven occupations as a creative director and an entrepreneur.

Andrew started out at Ogilvy and has worked for some of South Africa’s best advertising agencies, developing award-winning campaigns along the way. After going overseas and working at Tequila-London, he returned to Cape Town and founded the advertising agency Riot (Pty) Ltd.

Following a decade of working in the advertising game, Andrew sold Riot and started playing in the media game. In his search for new and innovative ways to interact with consumers, he created a new coffee media model, advertising on coffee cups. Eight cups of coffee later, Tag 8 media was born. Tag 8 has now grown to incorporate a host of channels and environments, recently launching ilovecoffee.co.za dedicated to coffee culture.

Entrepreneur Magazine call him ‘an ideas guy, driven by innovation & energy’, and today he applies his creativity to coffee & communication.

Martin is passionate about the business of communication & coffee. He joined the Tag 8 team from the publishing world of Men's Health magazine, with extensive experience in marketing & sales. He is as a classic madison man with a love for products & the numbers. Martin spends a lot of time in coffee shops, whether meeting clients, coffee partners, friends or family. When he's not there you'll find him taking a breather paddling in the ocean.

Ali is passionate about advertising, design, people and coffee. She makes miracles happen every day.

Ali's enthusiasm and fresh approach have quickly made her an integral part of the Tag 8 team. After studying design and art direction at Red and Yellow, Ali worked in film production for two years. She then traveled through the UK, bringing home a renewed and inspired energy for ambient media. Over and above running Tag 8, Ali still finds time for coffee, shopping, films and more coffee.
