STOP AND SMELL THE COFFEE

While enjoying your favourite cuppa at Seattle Coffee Company this month, you’ll be encouraged to take a bit of time out to recharge your batteries. Psychologies Magazine, with its focus on self-development, better living and relationships, is cleverly encouraging coffee drinkers to stop and smell the coffee via a mini-meditation session.

Psychologies partnered with Seattle Coffee Company, running coffee tags and posters to engage with their discerning customers. ‘Taking a few quiet minutes to savour a good cup of coffee is simple ritual that can remind us to reconnect with ourselves in the midst of chaos,’ says Psychologies editor Tracy Melass. ‘The campaign asks playful questions – “Is your cup half full or half empty?” – around this daily ritual which is, we think, enhanced when combined with a copy of the only South African women’s glossy entirely focused on self-accomplishment.’

‘I love that Psychologies has used intelligent, coffee relevant headlines – undoubtedly these will entertain and resonate with Seattle coffee drinkers,’ says Martin Coetzee from Tag 8 Media.
