
Sony Ericsson launched their new Smile Shutter cell phone camera through a nationwide advertising campaign, and it was smiles all the way! Tag 8 Media and Sony Ericsson created an innovative advertising campaign throughout Seattle Coffee Company in Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg. Take-away coffee sleeves were used as the ideal way to target the Sony Ericsson customer, and stickers branding smiles were stuck onto the bottom of the take-away cups adding a quirky eye-catching element to the campaign. In this way, Sony Ericsson was able to reach 100 000 customers within the space of a month.
